Each month, the LPO Monthly Application Activity report updates:
- The total number of current active applications that have been formally submitted to LPO (141 as of April 30, 2023 vs 130 as of March 31, 2023)
- The cumulative dollar amount of LPO financing requested in these active applications ($121.1 billion as of April 30, 2023 vs $117.9 billion as of March 31, 2023)
- The 24-week rolling average of new applications per week as of the close of the previous month (decreased slightly to 1.5 average applications per week as of April 30, 2023 vs 1.6 as of March 31, 2023)
- Technology sectors represented by applications
- Proposed project locations represented by applications
- Status of where applications stand in the review process: Of the 141 active applications, approximately 45% of applications are under initial review, approximately 40% are under advanced review, and roughly 15% are in due diligence
The report will break down the cumulative loan amount requested of current applications into general technology sectors that are potentially eligible under the Title 17 Innovative Clean Energy Loan Guarantee Program, Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing Loan Program, or Tribal Energy Loan Guarantee Program:
