There were six press releases published by the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response in May.

The most recent press release, "CESER’s SLTT Team Partners with NASEO, NGA, and NARUC to Host Cross-Agency Trainings," was submitted on May 31.

The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response published three press releases the month before, marking a 100 percent increase for the current month.

CESER’s focus is preparedness and response activities to natural and man-made threats.

An inspector general report found the Office lacked internal control policies and procedures about budgets. The Office was determined to have inappropriately spent nearly $12 million due to mismanagement.
