There were four press releases published by the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response in June.

The most recent press release, "Biden-Harris Administration Secures Good Deal for Taxpayers as it Continues to Replenish the Strategic Petroleum Reserve," was submitted on June 30.

The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response published six press releases the month before, marking a 33.3 percent decrease for the current month.

CESER’s focus is preparedness and response activities to natural and man-made threats.

An inspector general report found the Office lacked internal control policies and procedures about budgets. The Office was determined to have inappropriately spent nearly $12 million due to mismanagement.
